LJ Hooker Twin Waters Annual Easter Egg Hunt
On Sunday 14th April at 10:00am, LJ Hooker Twin Waters held the first of its annual Easter Egg Hunts and what an amazing morning it was!
During one of our team meetings earlier in the year, the LJ Hooker team were brain-storming ideas of what we can do this year involving the local community and from this the annual Easter Egg Hunt was born. Following application approvals through Council and investigating what was required we got the planning under way with the team organising artworks for promotional material and gathering supplies and games ready for the day. The week before the event the team were busy making up over one hundred Easter bags as the prizes for the hunt, along with extra prizes for the games on the day and for best dressed.
With attendees able to register through our LJ Hooker Twin Waters website, just before the weekend we had 80 children registered for the event, unsure of how many would turn up we were blown away with the turn out. On Sunday morning the team met at Warwick Daniels Lake View Drive Park and began setting up the marquee, tables, games, flags and music system. The face painter, Miss Cupcake arrived early and set up ready to start doing bunnies on the faces of the staff before all the families started arriving. With a few children arriving early, it wasn’t long before the park was full with the buzz of excited children.
All in all the day was a huge success with over 100 children attending and getting Easter Eggs and prizes. The feedback from the families attending was amazing, we all had so much fun and were so pleased to see how well it went, along with the support we had from the community and the feedback and excitement of it being an annual event.
We even received emails following the event from families expressing their gratitude for the morning, with one lady saying, “Thank you so much for a great day. The way the hunt was planned out was fantastic and a great idea with the sticks so all kids received the same amount. My children had so much fun. Thanks again.”
We are very grateful to everyone that attended the event and made it such a great day, we can’t wait for next years event which will be even bigger and better than the first!
